Certificate Verification
Welcome to the Global Academic Index (GAI) Certificate Verification Portal.
This verification system has been established to provide transparency, authenticity and trust regarding certificates, indexing records and verification documents issued by Global Academic Index.
The purpose of this service is to allow journals, publishers, institutions, researchers and third parties to verify the authenticity of certificates issued through GAI services.
Why Certificate Verification Matters
Academic and publishing environments increasingly rely on transparency and verifiable information. Verification systems help ensure that certificates presented by journals or publishers can be independently checked through an official source.
Certificate verification helps:
- Confirm authenticity
- Prevent document misuse
- Improve transparency
- Support institutional confidence
- Strengthen academic credibility
- Facilitate independent verification
GAI believes that transparency is essential for responsible academic communication.
What Can Be Verified?
The verification portal may be used to verify:
- Journal Indexing Certificates
- Directory Listing Certificates
- Publisher Verification Certificates
- Metadata Indexing Certificates
- Visibility Support Certificates
- Special Recognition Certificates
- Other official documents issued by GAI
Each verification record is maintained according to available registration information.
How Verification Works
Step 1
Enter the Certificate ID, Verification Number or QR-linked identifier.
Step 2
Submit the verification request.
Step 3
The system searches the official GAI verification database.
Step 4
If a matching record exists, verification details are displayed.
Step 5
Users may compare the displayed information with the certificate presented to them.
Information Displayed
Depending on the certificate type, verification results may include:
- Certificate Number
- Journal Name
- Publisher Name
- Verification Status
- Issue Date
- Service Type
- Country
- Registration Information
- Current Status
Information displayed may vary according to certificate category.
Independent Verification
The verification portal operates independently from journal websites and publisher websites. Verification results are generated from records maintained within the Global Academic Index system.
This allows institutions, libraries, researchers, publishers and third parties to perform independent checks without relying solely on copies of certificates.
Transparency and Trust
The certificate verification system forms part of GAI’s broader commitment to:
- Transparency
- Accountability
- Academic integrity
- Responsible publishing
- Public verification
Our objective is to provide a reliable method for confirming the authenticity of records issued through our platform.
Important Notice
Certificate verification confirms only the authenticity of records issued by Global Academic Index.
Verification does not represent:
- Impact Factor
- Citation Ranking
- Academic Accreditation
- Government Recognition
- Equivalence to Scopus
- Equivalence to Web of Science
- Equivalence to PubMed
- Equivalence to DOAJ
Verification confirms only that a certificate or record exists within the GAI system and matches available registration information.
