Basic Journal Evaluation
Choose this when: the journal is new, has recently redesigned its website, has never undergone an external readiness review, or is unsure whether its policies and records are complete.

Result: an independent evaluation outcome and a clearer picture of public-information gaps. This package does not include or guarantee a directory listing.
Standard Index Listing
Choose this when: the journal already publishes complete policies and needs evaluation for an eligible, structured GAI journal record and verification presence.

- Eligibility review against GAI transparency criteria
- Structured journal profile with publisher and country information
- Subject-area classification and official website link
- GAI journal record and Index ID for eligible journals
- Certificate or verification reference where issued
- Annual directory visibility and basic record maintenance
Important: if the journal does not meet the criteria, paying this fee cannot change the evaluation result. Applicants should use the Basic Evaluation first when readiness is uncertain.
Professional Article-Level Indexing
Choose this when: the journal is eligible for listing, publishes regularly and can provide a working DOI/Crossref, OAI-PMH, RSS, XML, CSV or comparable structured source.

It cannot promise: citations, traffic, author submissions, search position or acceptance by another index. Its value is accurate, structured and maintainable presentation.
Publisher Package
Choose this when: one publisher, university, society or research organization manages several journals and needs a consistent application and record-maintenance process.

- Publisher profile and portfolio-level coordination
- Readiness mapping across submitted journal websites
- Up to ten eligible journal directory listings
- Journal verification references where issued
- Metadata-source coordination within the agreed scope
- Priority communication for the multi-journal workflow
Each journal remains subject to evaluation. One strong journal cannot compensate for incomplete policies or unverifiable information on another journal in the portfolio.
How payment and review fit together
1. Apply
Enter the official journal title, applicant email, website, identifiers, policy links and selected service.
2. Pay securely
Use the matching Stripe page and enter the same journal or publisher title and email.
3. Match records
GAI matches the form and Stripe receipt. Review starts only after both are received.
4. Receive the outcome
Questions, findings, decisions and applicable deliverables are sent to the monitored applicant email.
Why the fees are not “pay to be accepted”
Professional assessment and metadata work require time even when an application does not produce a listing. Reviewers must inspect the supplied evidence, compare it with public pages, identify inconsistencies and document the result. Separating payment from the decision protects the integrity of the evaluation.
GAI therefore states the limitations beside the offers, at checkout and throughout the application flow. Applicants should never describe payment as the purchase of academic recognition.
